PERSONAL PASSION PROJECT OF THE IHRC GENEVA HEAD OF DELEGATION (AFRICA)

In the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s iconic “I Have a Dream” speech, a pioneering Legal Committee has emerged, dedicated to providing pro bono legal services to those in need. Established by Amb. Dr. Tivlumun Innocent Ahure, the IHRC Geneva, Head of Delegation (Africa). Dr. Ahure chairs this committee that embodies the philosophy of equality, justice, and human rights.

The committee’s mission is to bridge the gap in access to justice, ensuring that everyone, regardless of their background or financial means, receives fair representation. By offering free legal assistance, they aim to empower marginalized communities and promote social change.
A Lifeline for Those in Need To facilitate easy access to their services, the committee has made available an official telephone number called “+234 905 772 6113 – Hope” for people and lawyers to call and seek legal assistance or clarification on technical legal procedures. This dedicated hotline serves as a beacon of hope for those navigating complex legal systems.

A Call to Action As we strive for a more just and equitable society, this Legal Committee’s pro bono work serves as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to uphold human rights. We urge legal professionals, organizations, and individuals to join forces with this committee, contributing their expertise and resources to create a brighter future for all.
Together, we can make Dr. King’s dream a reality – a world where equality, justice, and human rights are universally upheld.
