The two remarkable individuals are Dr. Saiful Islam Dildar, the IHRC founder and International Secretary General, and Dr. Tivlumun Innocent Ahure, the IHRC Head of Delegation (Africa) and Ambassador-at-Large/Commissioner.
Dr. Saiful Islam Dildar: A Pioneer in Human Rights. Dr. Dildar has been a tireless advocate for human rights for over 40 years, focusing on development and protection in Bangladesh and beyond. His selfless efforts have created a sense of human rights awareness among ordinary people in Bangladesh, inspiring many to join the cause without relying on foreign assistance. As the founder of the Bangladesh Human Rights Commission (BHRC), Dr. Dildar has enabled human rights movements to gain momentum at the village level across Bangladesh.

Dr. Tivlumun Innocent Ahure: A Champion of Human Rights across Africa. Dr. Ahure has demonstrated exceptional leadership within the IHRC Geneva, serving as Ambassador of the African Region for 26 years before becoming Head of Delegation (Africa) and Ambassador-at-Large/Commissioner. His remarkable work in Nigeria and across the African continent has earned him recognition as a human rights diplomat. Dr. Ahure’s efforts have led to the expansion of human rights activities in Africa, inspiring thousands of activists to participate in promoting human rights across the continent.
