The Secretariat of Africa Headquarters of the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), Geneva is committed to promoting and protecting human rights globally, guided by the principles of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Our mission is to ensure that individuals everywhere are treated with dignity and respect, and can enjoy their fundamental human rights without discrimination.
We strive to achieve this mission through:
